Seen from above, the MS2 site, the $90 million second stage of the Medical Science Precinct, is taking shape in Hobart’s CBD.
The white steel framework is for the roof of the lecture theatre fronting Liverpool Street. Still to be constructed is an outdoor podium linking the lecture theatre to the MS2 tower building at Level 1, with a car park underneath.
Construction (by joint-venture contractors Fairbrother and John Holland) is on track for a scheduled completion in January 2013.
