Best of luck to Catherine Studley
UTAS Bachelor of Contemporary Arts graduate Catherine Studley has won a place on the prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art’s theatre production course.
After Catherine graduated from the School of Visual and Performing Arts in 2011 she won the 2012 Country Club of Tasmania CentrStage Award, leading her to work as associate lecturer in theatre, do set design and production for the Terminus production in 2012 and to direct the school’s graduate show, In the Company of Coward.
Catherine won her place through a process of interviews and constructing model stage sets from a pool of nearly 50 applicants; just 14 students nationwide were offered a place.
She will begin her NIDA Bachelor of Dramatic Art (Production) in Sydney next year.
