Prof David Sadler to feature in live-streamed Canberra symposium
Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students and Education) Professor David Sadler will feature in a symposium on the future of higher education in Canberra next week.
The symposium has been organised by The Conversation web site as the culmination of a two-week series of articles exploring how the university sector will respond to the rise of online and blended learning.
Prof Sadler was one of 15 contributors to the series (a total of 120 submissions were received) and one of five invited to take part in the symposium from 1-3pm on Monday 22 October.
The five panellists will be presenting their ideas and involved in open discussion with Tertiary Education Minister Chris Evans in front of an audience of around 50 stakeholders and media. The event will also be live-streamed on The Conversation. Video and podcasts will be available afterwards.
In the lead-up and on the day The Conversation will be tweeting under #FutureHigherEd.
