Global learning focus at national symposium

The University of Tasmania will host a national symposium, Engaging Students as Partners in Global Learning, in October.

The event will be facilitated by National Learning and Teaching Fellow Dr Wendy Green and create a vibrant space for discussing theoretical and practical perspectives on engagement and partnerships in learning and teaching in the interconnected, multicultural societies of the 21st Century.

Keynote speakers include Professor Betty Leask (La Trobe University) and Professor Fazal Rizvi (University of Melbourne).

The free symposium will be held on 9 October on the Sandy Bay Campus, and is open to all students and staff with registrations closing on 2 October.
